"Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary.
Be strong and do the work.”
Chronicles 28:10

About Lynda
Lynda McCarthy has written her whole life starting in elementary school when she wrote her first short story about a lost dog—not knowing that cats would be her destiny! Words were always fascinating and putting words together to describe what she sees- is the path she has taken.
Lynda graduated with degrees in English and social studies, counseling, and administration. She spent 30 years as a teacher and administrator. During this time, she wrote three full-length musicals and many spiritual dramas for her church Worship Ministries.
When she began The Sanctuary, she was given a spiritual roadmap, and she has been faithful to this- women, friendship, a setting as much a character as any person. As a first time author, her book, The Sanctuary was a ticket to Bob Goff's writer's workshop. There she was encouraged to "share her words" to the world. So here it is world! She recently finished the first draft of her second novel, The Showman's Girlfriend. Snow, romance, and Hallmark written all over it.
Lynda lives and works out of her home in Oregon with her husband, Denny, and her annoying cat, Annie. As she says, “There will always be a cat in my books!” Her literary cats will be more cooperative than her real cat! Trust me.
